Man disobeyed God and took a fruit from this tree. He knew he had done wrong.

Thousands of years later God humbled himself and became as a man and entered into the world He created.

He was ugly and he did not stand out from the crowd in his appearance. He healed the sick and yet he was covered in sickness.

He washed his followers feet.

He showed his love for sinful man by talking and hanging around with tax collectors and prostitutes.

He said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by me"

He humbled himself to such an extreme that he let Roman soldiers murder him.

He took the full force of man's sin on himself so that we don't have to take it.

A man without sin cannot die, He rose again after 3 days and 3 nights, breaking the power of eternal punishment.

Man can now be reconciled to God, he needs to be truly sorry for his sins and repents from them, and puts his faith in Jesus and makes Him Number 1 in his life.

Jesus said, "By this shall all men know you are my disciples, by the love you have one for one another"

He also said, "If any man wants to come after me, let him say no to his own way"

When someone decides to follow Christ the act of baptism symbolises the christians death to the pleasures of this world and new life in Jesus Christ. Here I am on 31 August 1986 when I was 11 years old doing just that. - It was freezing!
